![]() ![]() Affixed to obverse at narrow end of tusk are two separate carved seals, attached one directly in front of the other, via a peg on the bottom of each figure. Along highest, narrow side of tusk towards wide end, is incised image of a figure pulling a dead walrus on a line (on left), and a figure in a boat with line connected to speared walrus. Segments from wide end of tusk to narrow contain: hand holding a plant above image of two birds “walking” on land towards a pine tree a mitten, a piece of footwear, and a walrus a profile of a seal with hair/fur of varying color and unknown object above a profile of a seal with hair/fur of one color and unknown object above profile of a fish with three fishing spears above a profile of a fish. Game board is divided into six segments by borders of incised concentric circles. Solid tusk with hand carved cribbage board peg-holes on obverse (along convex face of curved tusk), decorated with black pigment.
